Treasure hunt in archaeological site


Children learn the history of the Kerameikos archaeological site and they answer the questions which help them to find the elements that lead them to Themistocles' walls, the Dypilon, which was one of the two entrances of ancient Athens. As children play the treasure hunt, they find information of the archaeological site, which helps them to find the treasure and discover the history for their own benefit.



Survival course

This activity, teaches the children, the basic principles for surviving in the forest, what equipment they may need, the best place to make our tent and light the fire with safety. They also learn useful information about the nature during a walk in the woods.



Orienteering


With this activity, the children are taught how to use correctly a map and a compass, discover where they are in a map and find some pre-ticked items in the map.



Mountain bike

Childern are divided in groups depending on their biking skills and they bike in the nature. The route is chosen depending on children's level and age with the greatest possible safety, in order to have an unforgetable experience.



Tree climbing

With this activity, children  learn to trust in their forces and other people and not to throw in their aims (here the top of the tree). Moreover, thet learn all the principles to climb with safety.



Flying fox

A rope is tied on two trees in different height with the appropriate equipment, the children tied up with a pulley and travel the route. All children are thrilled with this activity.
